Permodalan Kelantan Berhad (Permodalan) was incorporated on April 30th, 1981 with an authorised capital of RM50 million, wholly-owned by the Kelantan State Economic Developtment Corporation (KSEDC) an agency of the State Government of Kelantan.
The corporate rationale behind the formation of Permodalan was/is to have an investment company geared towards being the successful investment arm specifically of KSEDC and generally of the State Government of Kelantan.
